Auger Trophy

Awarded annually for the first shark of 105 points or more of the season

This trophy was donated to the club by Messrs Auger and accepted at a committee meeting on the 13^th June 1954. The original decision of the meeting was that it should be awarded to the member catching the best shark on Auger line.  At a later committee meeting, on the 12^th December 1954 the challenge criteria was changed to the first member catching a shark of 100lbs or more in the season. At the committee meeting in October 2018 the challenge criteria was changed again, this time to the first shark of a minimum of 105 points.
