Who are we?
The SACGB are a non-profit member club whose aim is to promote the sport of Shark Angling and Shark Conservation. We adopt a strict policy of Catch & Release and promote social contacts and sporting events for our members.

We obtain information about you when you apply for membership of the club, through our website and when you register for events, trophies and report specific catches.
What type of information is collected from you?
The personal information we collect includes your name, address, telephone number(s), email address, and information regarding what pages on our website are accessed and when.

- Keep you informed about developments, news items and events within SACGB, the sport of Shark Angling and Shark Conservation
- Contact you with a specific enquiry
- Process an order you have submitted
- Post material of interest on our website and/or in our Closed Group Facebook pages

All live personal data will be kept up to date and when no longer active will be archived.

When you are using our secure online payment pages, your payment is processed by a third-party payment processor, who specialises in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions. If you have any questions regarding secure transactions, please contact us.

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information the SACGB hold about you. We may charge £10 for information requests to cover our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.

Non-sensitive details (your email address etc.) are transmitted normally over the Internet, and this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security in our systems. Where we have given a password, which enables you to access certain parts of our websites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.
